Social Services

Supporting the whole child - social, emotional, and personal growth

Our Program

Mission

The South Pointe Social Services Team is dedicated to providing a program that is proactive, comprehensive, and developmentally appropriate to support students' social, emotional, and personal growth in addition to empowering students to realize their academic and career potential. We accomplish our mission through collaborating with the students, parents/guardians, staff, and community members.

Vision

At the South Pointe Social Services Team we endeavor to create a safe and nurturing environment where the South Pointe learning community is committed to supporting the Whole Child (emotional, social, physical, creative, and cognitive) enabling all students to become productive, respectful, ethical, and contributing members of society.

We believe that ALL students can succeed.

Program Alignment

South Pointe Social Services Team aligns their program with the American School Counselor Association's Mindsets & Behaviors for Student Success, Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) Framework, and Arizona Department of Education School Safety Program Support, to "promote, and enhance safe and effective learning environments for all students."
